Before paying
Universal+ does not support Patreon. If considering Universal, ask support about acceptance for your particular membership before funding; successful payment is not guaranteed.
Check the card balance allowing for fees, conversion and verification charges. Use Card Details for the number, expiry and CVV, and SafePay Billing for the holder name and address. Keep the service profile information accurate.
Complete checkout
- After checking card compatibility, open the creator’s Patreon page and choose a membership tier.
- Read the amount, currency and next charge date. In the payment-method form, enter your card details and billing information.
- Confirm and check the membership in your account. For an existing membership, update its payment method in Patreon settings.
After confirmation
Changing a saved card may not automatically move every membership to it: check the relevant membership’s method. Manage cancellation and refund conditions with Patreon and the creator. Do not try to bypass Universal+ restrictions through retries or a different address.
If a 3D Secure request appears, complete the confirmation shown in SafePay, then return to the merchant. Do not pay again while the result is pending. For an error, keep its text, time and amount.
